Butier Engineering, Inc. provided construction oversight and management services for this project, which consisted of a complete renovation and upgrade of an existing unassigned space, to service John Wayne Airport’s newest International carrier, Interjet of Mexico. The roughly 800 SF space was transformed into a completely upgraded and functional Airline Ticket Office and Airline Ramp office within the scheduled operation of 14 calendar days. The scope of work included a completely renovated tenant improvement, which included all new mechanical, plumbing, electrical, data, voice, paint, cabinetry, T-bar ceiling, and flooring with all these elements needing to be complete and online prior to the airline’s arrival. In approximately 12 calendar days, all systems and renovations were complete, online, and awaiting Interjet’s arrival.
