Project Overview

Butier Engineering, Inc. managed and coordinated the retrofitting of the existing Airport Police Services Dispatch Center, which was developed into a new situation room in Terminal A. The Project included office space layout redesign and improvements for adjacent offices to the current Sherriff dispatch area, including improvements to the network server room and other offices used by Operations, Public Affairs, and Maintenance.

The remodel created a state-of-the-art emergency response facility that combines a Level II emergency operations center, a maintenance service desk, and a communication control center. Additionally, the project upgraded various technology, including radio/telephone, video security management, networking, fiber optic systems, as well as supporting building infrastructure such as mechanical, electrical, and fixed equipment components.
