Project Overview

Butier Engineering, Inc. is providing construction management and staff augmentation services for the San Jacinto Groundwater Treatment Facility, a new centralized facility located at Hewitt and Evans Streets. The project is a major component of EMWD's Groundwater Reliability Plus initiative and is designed to treat groundwater produced from four new production wells, as well as water originating from EMWD's Water Banking and PWR programs before entering the potable distribution system. The facility will treat over 11,000 acre feet annually, supplying safe drinking water for more than 25,000 households.
