Project Overview

Butier is providing comprehensive construction management services for the Torrance Groundwater Desalter Expansion Project (TGDE). The TGDE, which is being delivered under a Progressive Design-Build agreement, is a central component of WRD's Brackish Groundwater Reclamation Program. When completed, the project will add four new production wells, new feedwater pipelines, and an expanded treatment facility capable of producing up to 7 million gallons per day.
