Project Overview

Butier Engineering, Inc. managed and coordinated the construction of the Paularino Gate, which provided safety and security improvements to the airport perimeter and airfield access gate. The scope of work included the following: replacement of the current airfield gate with a crash-resistant gate; replacement of the guard booth and installation of an additional guard booth and access control nearer to Airway Avenue; installation of a crash-resistant fence on the airfield perimeter and the FAA control tower; installation of additional lighting; replacement of the pavement on Paularino Avenue; increased parking capacity in the administration building's visitor parking lot; and structural and visibility improvements to the entryway of the JWA Eddie Martin Administration Building.
