County of Orange Awards Butier Owner’s Rep Contract for Dana Point Harbor Revitalization

The County of Orange OC Public Works executed an eight-year term contract with Butier Engineering to provide Owner’s Representative Services for the Dana Point Harbor (DPH) Revitalization Project. DPH is a 276.8-acre marine-oriented recreational facility that provides year-round activities for boaters, residents, tourists, and the general public. The $337.82-million project will include revitalizing and redeveloping the Harbor’s commercial core, marina, and hotel through a Public-Private partnership with real estate development team Dana Point Harbor Partners LLC (DPHP). The County and DPHP will develop the project components in phases, with construction on the commercial core beginning in late 2020. Butier’s team—including Blue Mountain Development and CAA Planning—will provide a broad range of management and advisory services from program management and field representation inspection to design QA/QC oversight and multiple stakeholder coordination.
