Butier Engineering, Inc. managed and coordinated the removal and replacement of nine (9) air handling units located on the rooftops of Terminals A and B. The project included new energy-efficient units that provide reliable, optimum climate control for tenants and travelers. The scope of work included modifying ductwork and the installation of new pipe and pipe supports, new control panels, actuators, sensors, transmitters, controls, low voltage cable, and conduit. To maintain the operation and safety of the airport, placement of the new AHUs on the rooftops was performed during the airport’s after hours. Butier’s Team coordinated closely with JWA staff, airport security, and the contractor.
