Butier’s project managers and field representatives managed and coordinated the construction of the new concessions within Terminal A, B, and C. A total of 31 concessions were constructed with independent contractors and schedules. At times, a total of 18 different concession build-out projects were constructed concurrently. Construction typically involved high-end tenant improvement quality finishes. Inspections dealt with essential MEP works (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, millwork, fit & finish, etc.). Detailed coordination was imperative to the success of each project.

Butier’s key personnel were responsible for providing the following services to the County of Orange, Airport Operations: preliminary plan & submittal review for code compliance and constructability; assisting in coordinating future concession contractor’s work schedule, set up, implementation, etc.; day-to-day field representation and inspection as a supplement to County of Orange staff; coordinating County Building Inspections with all parties; ensuring compliance with Health Department and ABC regulatory agencies; reviewing as-built/record drawings prior to final submittal to JWA; management administration and documentation for each project independently with Business Development for JWA; managing and coordinating all JWA Field Staff, and managing each contract/project as a whole for JWA.
