Butier Engineering, Inc. provided construction management and inspection services for the San Lorenzo Sewage Lift Station Project. It is the first state-of-the-art sewage lift station in the City of Santa Ana. The project moved the sewage lift station from its old location on Bristol Street, which helps improve traffic flow by eliminating lane closures on Bristol when the station needs maintenance. The new station also improves sewage flow, helps reduce sewage backups and spills in the south Santa Ana area, and provides a safer and more accessible working area for City crews. All sewage from the station is pumped to a manhole connecting to the Orange County Sanitation District Line at the intersection of Bristol and Segerstrom Avenue.
